Yesterday was a fantastic event full of refreshing insights about fintech and AI. On day 2, the #SGFinTechFest has so much bigger to offer it started from 9.30 am of opening remark: Technology is dead. It’s a provocative case for the technology task being less about its advance and more about its capacity to directly connect with and improve the human condition, today and into the unforeseen future; that technology’s values lies in the ability to translate its inanimate state into an animate one based on human intimacy.
The conference was so intense that I continued to listened at 9:50 am for Tech Talk by Mike Wells, Group Chief Executive Officer of Prudential. I had a work call that I missed two conference but I catch up at 10:50 am for Leaders Dialogue: Big Tech and Data by Dawn Tan, Senior Producer of Mediacorp Channel NewsAsia with panelist, Cassie Kozykov, Chief Decision Scientist of Google, Ari Sarker, Co-President in Asia Pacific Mastercard and Devendra Kumar Sharma, CEO of In-House Capital LLC.
Ari Sarker confidentially shared with us that we are bigger than cyber attackers and together we can fight financial crimes. He provides a few tips and also Cassie shared her arguments regarding cyberattacks. You will be able to read more in my next article. Stay tuned!
Before I have my lunch at hall 1 feast area, I watched the Fintech Awards presented by Sopnendu Mohanty, Chief FinTech Officer, MAS.
