I’ve been receiving messages on Instagram and subscribers how to work on your social media presence if you’re busy running errands. This is an important question if you’re working on your brand, you’re working for other company’s brand or you’re simply just want to grow your audience organically.
Allow me to share:
Hootsuite is a social media software that allows you to schedule your posts on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. The platform has a professional content curation specially created for people like you to easily find, manage and share compelling social media content and images.
You will also be able to track the analytics and see your social media efforts on how much your audience has grown organically.
If you’re working with a team, Hootsuite also allows you to work with your team to assign each social media post, approval workflows, and scheduling.
The price can be flexible it offers from free allowing 1 user + 3 social media profiles, professional 1 user + 10 social media profiles, small team 3 users + 20 social media profiles, and business 5 users up to 35 social media profiles. If you have more users and/or team your package will be in the enterprise category.
Later is a new gamechanger platform that was only founded in 2014. Now it has over 2 million users globally, Later is a member of the Instagram Partner Program and a Pinterest Marketing Partner.
This platform is similar with Hootsuite, however, it has new features that Hootsuite doesn’t have such as scheduling Instagram stories, focus on visual schedule, arranging the images accordingly with a mobile mockup, marketing, and analytics.
Later is available for free but with limited posts per month, the individual is $9/monthly and the user can upload up to 100 limited posts per month, the premium is $19/month it allows 2 users per platform with 250 limited posts and start $29/month that allows 3 users and unlimited posts.
Why use social media software?
If you’re thinking that social media is all about “self-promotion” then you get it wrong. Millions of users are taking social media branding seriously to leverage it for their branding and marketing. If a social media account has a beautiful feed, consistent posts, and it can target the right audience at a specific time the followers or supporters can grow organically.
Social media software is also important because it allows its users to create a clickable link which is helpful if you will post a feature image or video with your website or blog link.
Lastly, if you have a small team and you are busy in errands, to schedule your social media post will allow you to remain active online even you’re hustling behind the scene or if you’re on a holiday.
Both Later and Hootsuite have allowed me to maintain our social media presence whilst I am traveling for work, attending MBA classes or simply if I want to be away from my mobile for days.
