In The Past:I grew up independently so I used to be so much more about winning and getting ahead, more diva-ish but not a bitch that I will compete unnecessarily with friends but rather someone who focus on academics, business and titles. I was hungry for everything.
Growing Up:As I get older I don’t focus on myself, title, validation, or anything that will just look good on the outside (although I still do sometimes, ha ha!). I learned to be a supportive friend, a sort of the cheerleader among my girlfriends or inner circle, taking emotional care of them when they need me. I learned not to overly talk about big stuff but rather talk about sincere and genuine things. I learned to listen with the intent to understand not with an intent to reply or preach. In short, to be a strong, caring, compassionate, humble and loving person it takes a lot of mistakes, failures, heartbreaks, lessons and experience to learn all of these things. Unless, of course, if you have a mother like Mother Theresa that your soul is nourished since birth.
On Hanging Out With The Girlfriend:Paivikki and I are not best friends, in fact, we hate labels in friendship because it discriminates the relationship of your other friends with you. But I would say for a year and some months P and I can get along well. I like that she’s beautiful, stylish, caring, considerate and not crazy. I like that despite her education, background and status in Finland and Singapore she is humble to make friends with people. She doesn’t discriminate. Unlike, other divas out there just because they have the #FirstWorldCountryProblems they discriminate foreign students from third world countries and act like as if their rich daddy and mummy can buy everything. They worship “rich people”. I seriously can’t stand those type of women. I mean, I like to be stylish, to travel and to enjoy the little and big things from the fruits of my hard labour but I don’t discriminate people on the basis of their background, nationality, status or income. For me all these labels are rubbish. I always look at the person’s personality and character. I appreciate people who are compassionate, supportive and caring.
The MBS:I’ve been busy lately and has limited time to hang out with friends but this is no longer my excuse to be stuck on my desk. I learned to have fun here and there. P invited me to have an afternoon tea with her at Marina Bay Sands and of course, where you visit the area it’s hard not to take photos. Ha ha! We had a fun afternoon, we didn’t do any shopping though, we ate at Angelina café and we took lots of photos of course! 😊 I won’t say this place is too pretentious or just for the rich only because if you will look on different perspectives, you will appreciate the architecture design, landscape layout and the stunning view of the Raffles Place. It was lovely, a little exotic yet fancy. But for P and I, it was a bonding experience.
Inside the Shoppes there is a Venice vibe.
Then you will see the giant Chanel boutique.
And here’s the stylish Angeline cafe.
Just outside the LV store next to Arts Science Museum.
Having the ’60s vibe.
I can see you.
Angelina cafe is a chill place to have a casual business meeting. However, in my own opinion, the service isn’t good. It took about 15 mins for our two cups of coffee to arrive. I’ve thought for a moment I’ve ordered a steak. ha ha. But anyway, in general, the ambience is good. 🙂

Here’s a little fun from our day at MBS.
Thank you, PSB Academy, University of Wollongong and Ms. Abigail Ng. I am in fact, not the best student in the class due to the limited time I can focus in my studies but with all your encouragement and moral support I stay motivated and stay fierce. I feel humble to experience this #FutureMakers interview as one of the student ambassadors. I don’t think of myself as better than my peers for being here but rather someone who is inspired to be a better role model, student, friend and classmate. Josh and I are building the Team Indonesia and Team Philippines for our cosmetics business. Stay tuned! 😊 . . . . . . . #startup #business #cosmetics #futuremakers #love #inspired
